Find Clarity and Hope with Holistic, Empowering, and Enlightening Treatment Modalities with Gogi Hale
Finding a therapist with skills in the type(s) of therapy method that connects most with you is critical in taking your next step. Generally referred to as “Treatment Modalities,” the techniques used in session are meant to work with your psychological, emotional, or behavioral concerns. My methods range from evidence-based clinical therapies to holistic and alternative interventions.

Attachment Therapy
Not sure your style of relationships is serving you? Attachment Theory looks at the patterns of behavior we learned early in life and how they affect how we interact and react to others throughout our lives.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Do you feel your mind is always racing or placing negative thoughts in your head? Cognitive Behavioral Therapy focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors and replacing them with a more balanced outlook.
Person-Centered Therapy
Do you value input and find value in talking through memories or challenging situations? With Person-Centered Therapy, I will work with you more as a guide, empowering you to explore your own growth and fulfillment.
Solution-Focused Therapy
Feeling overwhelmed and stuck? Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) offers a practical, empowering approach to help you move forward—without getting lost in the past. Instead of focusing solely on problems, SFT highlights your strengths, resources, and goals, so you can build a clearer path toward the future you want.
Treatment Modalities in Action:
Effective Treatment of Your Mental Health Concerns
Wondering if your mental health struggle will work with the mental health treatment methods used in a session with me? I invite you to read insights below to determine how my style resonates with you.
TREATING THE SILENT STRUGGLE OF DEPRESSION
Depression is more than normal sadness. It’s a serious mental health condition that affects millions of people worldwide. It can drain your energy, affect your sleep, and make even the simplest tasks feel overwhelming. It often goes unseen and can impact anyone, regardless of age, background or lifestyle.
If you have persistent sadness, a loss of interest in activities that you used to enjoy, fatigue, changes in appetite, and feelings of hopelessness, you could be suffering from depression. It is important to recognize that depression is not a weakness or something one can “snap out of.” It often requires support and treatment to overcome.
The good news is that help is available. Therapy, medication, lifestyle changes, and social support can all play a role in feeling better. You are not alone – support and hope are within reach. Please reach out to me for a strong first step toward healing.
FIGHTING ANXIETY TO FIND CALM
Anxiety is one of the most common issues I see, and one of the most misunderstood. Anxiety is not just worry or nervousness; it’s a physical and emotional response that can impact your body, thoughts, and daily life.
Many people experience racing thoughts, a constant sense of dread, or physical symptoms like a rapid heartbeat, muscle tension, or trouble sleeping. Anxiety can show up without a clear reason, which makes it even more frustrating.
The good news is that anxiety is highly treatable. Through therapy, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques and somatic awareness, clients learn to understand their triggers, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and build healthy coping strategies. Mindfulness, breathing exercises, and grounding techniques also make a big difference.
If you are living with anxiety, know that you are not broken. Help is available, and if you can allow me to provide you with the right support, you can feel calmer and more in control.
SURVIVING AND THRIVING AFTER GRIEF
Grief is a natural response to loss—but the normalcy of that doesn’t make it any easier to bear. Whether you’re mourning the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, a major life change, or something less visible but deeply felt, grief can be overwhelming and isolating.
Everyone experiences grief differently. It may show up as sadness, anger, guilt, numbness, or even relief. It may vacillate between these feelings or hit you out of the blue. There’s no “right” way to grieve—and no set timeline for healing.
The good news is that you don’t have to grieve alone. Together, we can create space for your unique experience—without judgment, pressure, or expectation. We’ll work at your pace to process what you’ve lost, explore what it means for your life now, and gently support your healing in whatever form it takes.
If you’re feeling stuck, exhausted, or simply in need of a safe, calming place to talk with someone who truly cares, you’re welcome here.
MANAGING EMOTIONS IS THE KEY TO ADDICTION RECOVERY
Do you find yourself planning around alcohol or questioning whether your use is “that bad”? Are hangovers, regrets, or memory gaps becoming common?
Substance use can start as a way to cope—but over time, it can take over your life. Whether you’re worried about your current use or looking to stay on track after treatment, therapy can help.
I’ve worked with individuals struggling with addiction, and as the adult child of alcoholic parents, I understand the deep impact it can have. Addiction often strips away your sense of self, leaving shame and disconnection in its place.
Whether your goal is to cut back or stop completely, I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to support your recovery. You are more than your addiction — and a joyful, sober life is possible.
